It’s finally spring!
Yay, spring is finally here! It has seemed like an especially long winter. It’s been consistently above 55 degrees for the past week, so I’ve been spending work breaks sitting on the back porch reading magazines. What a rough life, eh? 
In other news, Jack has been extremely active the past few days— right on target with the iVillage projections. So much so that Brian was finally able to put his hand on my tummy and feel him move. YES! We were both pretty excited about that.
He was asking what it felt like, but I can’t really explain it. Most of the time it’s odd but pleasant, like a big worm moving up and down and all around. Every once in a while, though, he kicks me hard enough to make me gasp. Not really out of pain as much as surprise. My body is no longer mine, that’s for sure. I’d say it’s definitely time to print up the “Pregnancy is like getting your ass kicked from the inside” t-shirt.
