In case you were wondering how much a 7-week stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit costs, I present to you Jack’s final bill.
The damage: $303,260.91
Ummm… yeah. We’re glad that we have insurance. Even though it’s insanely expensive because we’re both self-employed and we have to pay over a thousand dollars a month for it, we are so very, very glad that we have insurance. I don’t think either of us will complain about the cost of it ever again.
The fun part is that we can tell Jack for the rest of his life that he’s literally worth over a quarter million dollars.
