Busy being cute
Jack is doing so many things that it’s almost impossible for me to document them all. He loves standing up—the second you put him on his feet, he’s all smiles. He can easily bear all of his weight now, and if he would flatten his feet and develop a little balance, he’d be standing on his own. He does little baby squats and stomps, too (which is so cute I need to get it on tape).
He loves standing so much that I bought him a little walker. It’s way too big for him, and his feet don’t touch the ground yet, but if you wrap a bunch of blankies around him and put a step under his feet, he has a grand old time.
His next favorite thing is sitting up on the couch “by himself”, which we let him do often. He loves doing anything that makes him feel like a big boy.
If you sit in front of him and hold his hands, he’ll actually pull himself up closer to you. We have a little game where I’ll make kissy faces until he pulls, and then I lay one on him! Here’s the face he makes when he wants a kiss:
Presumably because he can’t pucker yet. Hee! Babies are fun!
