Five months old

Today Jack is five months old! Our precious little guy is already getting sooooooo big! He had a doctor’s appointment yesterday and weighs a whopping 14 lbs. 12 ounces, and is 25″ long now! Wooo hoooo!

But now for the pièce de résistance:

I’ve been dying to post this. On the left is my own 5-month-old photo, taken in March of 1976. The two on the right are photos taken of Jack a week ago. He is my spittin’ image, isn’t he? I can’t believe how much he looks EXACTLY like I did. He has the same eyes, facial structure, chin, hair pattern, skin tone— he even has the same weird little indent running across his head!!! It’s insane!

If the photo of me wasn’t so obviously circa 70s, I think most people wouldn’t realize that we’re two different babies! Hehe!

OH.MY.GOODNESS! I thought he looked a whole lot like his mommy but seeing the pictures side by side is just…OH.MY.GOODNESS! Just the absolute spitting image of mommy!

HOLY COW! When I first saw this, I thought, Gosh…he’s wearing a DRESS in the first picture! It wasn’t until later that I actually READ this post, and realized that the first pic is not Jack, it’s you. He looks JUST like you as a baby!

He is beautiful!
